The pride of Indonesia, Garuda Indonesia is the flag-carrier of Indonesia, the largest archipelago national. Garuda Indonesia flies to over 40 domestic and 36 international destinations and was named as World’s Best Regional Airline by Skytrax. Flew for the first time in 1949, today Garuda Indonesia carries more than 25 million passengers annually.
Garuda Indonesia needed an e-shop to take their current in-flight catalogue online. They also required a member only area that integrates with their current Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution. The objective of the website is to reduce bounce rate and improve traffic flow to their product listing pages.
Conversion Hub proposed a new web design that incorporates the latest web technologies like AJAX and interactive technology. The site was powered by a backend content management system (CMS) and had a custom plugin that allows backend integration with their CRM. Search engine optimization remained an important consideration and the team guided on the insertion of meta information for each page.
