The Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) is a major research enterprise established by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in partnership with the National Research Foundation of Singapore (NRF) in 2007. SMART is the first entity in the Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE) developed by NRF.
Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART)’s current website was outdated and did not conform to the latest standards for usability. They sought out Conversion Hub to revamp their website to meet the new needs of their users.
Conversion Hub revamped the SMART website, incorporating the latest web technologies like AJAX and interactive technology. The site was powered by a backend content management system (CMS) and had a custom plugin that allowed for projects and news filtering. Search engine optimization remained an important consideration and the team guided on the insertion of meta information for each page.
