The National Museum of Indonesia (Museum Nasional), is an archaeological, historical, ethnological, and geographical museum located in Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta, right on the west side of Merdeka Square. Popularly known as the Elephant Building (Gedung Gajah) after the elephant statue in its forecourt. Its broad collections cover all of Indonesia’s territory and almost all of its history. The museum has endeavoured to preserve Indonesia’s heritage for two centuries.


The National Museum of Indonesia wanted a new website that better articulated their brand positioning. They also wanted to be able to feature and highlight certain key collections as and when required.


Conversion Hub revamps the National Museum of Indonesia website, incorporating the latest web technologies like AJAX and interactive technology. The site was powered by a backend content management system (CMS). Search engine optimization remained an important consideration and the team guided on the insertion of meta information for each page.
